Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: January 2026

This Cancellation Policy applies to all motorcycle rental bookings made with Motorrad Rentals. By confirming a booking, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. General

  • All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or through our official booking platform.

  • Cancellation timeframes are calculated from the scheduled rental start date and time.

  • Refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the original payment method.

 

2. Cancellation by the Customer

The following cancellation fees apply:

  • More than 14 days before rental start date:
    Full refund, less any non-refundable booking or administration fees.

  • 7 to 14 days before rental start date:
    50% of the total rental amount will be refunded.

  • Less than 7 days before rental start date:
    No refund will be issued.

  • No-show or early return:
    No refunds will be provided for no-shows, late arrivals, or unused rental days.

 

3. Cancellation by Motorrad Rentals

  • We reserve the right to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to mechanical issues, safety concerns, weather conditions, or force majeure events.

  • In such cases, customers will be offered either:

    • A full refund, or

    • An alternative motorcycle or rescheduled rental date (subject to availability).

 

4. Amendments and Rescheduling

  • Requests to amend or reschedule a booking are subject to availability and must be made in writing.

  • Approved changes may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking, and cancellation fees may apply.

  • Any price differences due to date or bike changes may be charged accordingly.

 

5. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days.

  • Bank processing times may vary and are beyond our control.

 

6. Travel, Insurance & Responsibility

  • We strongly recommend that customers obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers motorcycle rentals, cancellations, and trip interruptions.

  • Motorrad Rentals is not responsible for cancellations caused by travel delays, visa issues, illness, or personal circumstances.

 

7. Policy Changes

  • We reserve the right to amend this Cancellation Policy at any time.

  • The version published on our website at the time of booking will apply.
