Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: January 2026
This Cancellation Policy applies to all motorcycle rental bookings made directly with Motorrad Rentals. If you have booked through a rental agency or third party supplier, refer to their own cancellation policy. By confirming a booking with Motorrad Rentals, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. Securing a booking
In order to secure a booking, we require a 25% (non-refundable) booking deposit of the invoice amount relating to the booking. The remainder of the balance is due 30 days in advance of your booking.
2. General
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or through our official booking platform.
Cancellation timeframes are calculated from the scheduled rental start date and time.
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the original payment method.
3. Cancellation by the Customer
The following cancellation fees apply:
- Cancellation 30 Days or more before booking: 25% of invoice amount retained, 75% of the total invoice amount will be refunded.
- Cancellation between 14 and 30 Days before booking: 50% of invoice amount retained, 50% of the total invoice amount will be refunded.
- Cancellation between 7 and 14 Days before booking: 75% of invoice amount retained, 25% of the total invoice amount will be refunded.
- Cancellation 7 Days or less before booking: 100% of rental amount retained, no refund will be issued.
- No-show or early return: No refunds will be provided for no-shows, late arrivals, or unused rental days
4. Cancellation by Motorrad Rentals
We reserve the right to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to mechanical issues, safety concerns, weather conditions, or force majeure events.
In such cases, customers will be offered either:
A full refund, or An alternative motorcycle or rescheduled rental date (subject to availability).
5. Amendments and Rescheduling
Requests to amend or reschedule a booking are subject to availability and must be made in writing.
Approved changes may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking, and cancellation fees may apply.
Any price differences due to date or bike changes may be charged accordingly.
6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days.
Bank processing times may vary and are beyond our control.
7. Travel, Insurance & Responsibility
We strongly recommend that customers obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers motorcycle rentals, cancellations, and trip interruptions.
Motorrad Rentals is not responsible for cancellations caused by travel delays, visa issues, illness, or personal circumstances.
8. Policy Changes
We reserve the right to amend this Cancellation Policy at any time.
The version published on our website at the time of booking will apply.
